Goals of Global e-vasilopita of Hellenism and Philhellenes (friends of Greece)
The goals of Global e-vasilopita are:
1. To place the global e-vasilopita of the world's Hellenism and philhellenes (friends of Greece) next to the global Santa Claus for the global promotion of Greece, of products and services of Hellenism and philhellenes which will correspond to the "Signs" of the e-vasilopita as presents,
2. To bring, in a pleasant and easy for them way, close to Greece and our customs, our traditions and the Greek language, expatriates, philhellenes and mostly the emigrant youth of the 4th and 5th generation for whom the internet constitutes an important part of their interests.
and
3. to spread the wonderful message that is incorporated in the way the distribution of the pieces was done
…when they came back home from church at noon, the host used to cut the vasilopita and give out the pieces as follows;
"The first one was for the household, the second was Santa’s, the third the hostess’, the fourth dedicated to labor (job), the rest were the members’ of the family, one for the poor and one for the foreigners" (customs Propontida-Vithynia-East Thrace)
In the e-vasilopita apart from flouria (gold coins) there are also "signs" symbols (like wheat, vine, olive leaf, pomegranate, corn, bean, cheese etc as people used to put in the traditional vasilopita in some parts of Greece, Thrace, Epirus etc) to which the presents (doroflouria) will correspond, that is presents, products, services of donor Companies, Municipalities, Associations, Retailers etc Registration for Greeks and philhellenes of any age is totally free.
The registered are divided randomly into tables (groups) of 20, so that the cutting of the e-vasilopita is done by its hosts with only and in total 20 clicks on a single knife. That is, when the first click is made, then the first person at each table gets the first piece. When the second click is made, then the second person at each table gets their piece and so on and so forth.

On 21st February the day of the cutting, by logging in every registered member is placed at his table where he will get - next to his name- a virtual piece of the e-vasilopita. He will then have to click again, so that the piece turns upside-down and the member can see if he has won something.
It should be noted that the registered do not need to be online the moment of the cutting and that they can search their piece for presents at any given moment after the cutting.
The participants gathered on the same virtual table, can check out each others pieces without being noticed.
If the winner of a coin-flouri is connected online, his/her name will appear automatically, below the picture of the vasilopita. Otherwise, his/her name will appear the day and time he/she will be connected. A week after the day of cutting, all the winner’s names will be presented, either the pieces will have been checked or not.
EXAMPLE: click on this piece, wait 4-6 sec and look ...
Each of the virtual tables consists of 20 participants. The coins are randomly distributed to the wholesale participants.
The substitute coins will be as many as the coins.
WE WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.
